Transfer of Enzyme Business to CLP International Pte Ltd
News Release: October 2004

With effect from October 2004, the enzyme business within CLP Group will be transferred to CLP International Pte Ltd. The transfer of business is part of the Group's ongoing efforts to consolidate its core businesses under CLP International.

The enzyme business had previously been effected through our subsidiaries, Overon Pte Ltd and Trend Industries Pte Ltd. As the manufacturing process, R&D and distribution activities were all carried out by CLP International in the past, the transfer of business was met with minimal impact.

In line with the transfer of business, the range of enzyme products was given a new brand name --- Vegazyme.

Joint Venture with Colorantes Industriales S.A
News Release: August 2003

With effect from 8th August 2003, the leather chemical business of CLP International Pte Ltd will be transferred to a newly incorporated company, CLP-Coloranties Pte Ltd. The new company is the result of a joint venture between CLP International Pte Ltd and Colorantes Industriales S.A., a Spanish company that is well regarded in Europe.

The Management of both companies believe that the new joint venture company will benefit from their combined knowledge and resources --- tapping on CLP's established marketing network across Asia and Colorantes's high performance products, new fashion articles, technical back-up and services.

Riding on CLP' s years of experience in the Asian market, the transfer of business and operations to the new joint venture company is expected to be smooth. The Management looks forward to achieving greater customer satisfaction with the quality products and services that the joint venture will be able to offer.

Change of Name for Chin Leong Construction Pte Ltd
News Release: May 2003

With effect from 26th May 2003, Chin Leong Construction Pte Ltd will change its name to Chin Leong Construction Systems Pte Ltd. The change of name will better reflect the company's business activities of providing contract services and materials to companies in the construction industry.

Other than the change in name, no significant changes are being made to the company's Management or business directives.

Restructuring of Chin Leong (CLP) Corporation Pte Ltd
News Release: April 2002

With effect from 1st April 2002, the core businesses of Chin Leong (CLP) Corporation Pte Ltd will be transferred to a newly incorporated company, CLP International Pte Ltd, which is also a wholly owned subsidiary of Chin Leong (CLP) Corporation Pte Ltd.

Besides taking over Chin Leong's businesses in chemicals, construction chemicals, leather chemicals and waste & cooling water treatment chemicals, CLP International Pte Ltd will also act as the immediate holding company for various subsidiaries in the CLP group.

The restructuring exercise is part of CLP's efforts to streamline its operations, especially its core businesses within the region, which has grown substantially over the years. It is envisioned that the new group structure will heighten our operational efficiency and allow us to react more rapidly to changing business conditions.

The Management would like to take this opportunity to thank all customers, suppliers, business associates and employees of the CLP group for their support in the past. Looking ahead, the Management will continue working towards enhancing our mutually profitable relationships.
