strength. Started as a small-scale chemicals supplier,
serving mainly the domestic paint and coating industry,
CLP Group has developed into a major manufacturer,
distributor and trader of chemicals not only for
the paints and coating industry, but across a diversed
range of industries such as electronic, wafer fabrication,
petrochemical and pharmaceutical.
One of our key strength is our extensive network
of distribution and marketing offices across Asia,
in countries such as Singapore (HQ), Malaysia,
China/Hong Kong, Taiwan and Vietnam. Through these
offices, we also serve other key markets such
as Thailand and Indonesia.
Over the years, CLP International has also developed
strategic alliances with major chemical producers
to distribute chemicals to the various markets
efficiently. Creating a strong market presence
from these alliances, CLP International is able
to provide value-added services to the industry
as an efficient trader, distributor and stockist.
Apart from being a chemical trader and distributor,
CLP Group has also integrated backwards in the
value chain to involve in manufacturing of chemicals
such as Ethyl Acetate, Ferric Chloride, leather
chemicals, construction chemicals, enzyme chemicals
for laundry industry as well as chemicals for
waste water treatment and electronic industries.
Other value-adding roles that CLP has diversified
laterally into include OEM blending of chemicals,
contract toll manufacturing, chemical dilution
services for major chemicals and electronic plants.
